I am a Psychologist and work primarily with experiencing mood-related concerns, anxiety, and trauma. My work is grounded in a client-centred and trauma-informed orientation, with a focus on building an emotionally attuned therapeutic relationship. I integrate elements of acceptance-based and emotion regulation approaches where relevant.
I am particularly drawn to trauma informed, culturally responsive and feminist lenses, and I recognise that personal distress is often intertwined with social, relational, and systemic contexts. In the therapy room, I aim to stay present with both vulnerability and strength. I value creating a space where individuals feel genuinely seen and able to explore their experiences without being reduced to diagnoses or symptom labels.
For me, therapy is not only about symptom reduction but about meaningful internal shifts. I believe healing begins when a person feels truly witnessed and understood in their full complexity.
Outside of my clinical work, I dabble in poetry, watercolours and portraiture. I indulge in diving headfirst into whatever piques my interest (a small but cherished guilty pleasure).I also enjoy swimming, listening to Carnatic music and playing a smidge of badminton as well!
